BPU Water Production Crews will be draining the “Dillon’s” water tower this week for routine cleaning and inspection and will be out of service for approximately two weeks. BPU’s water towers are maintained every three years. As the tower drains, water will come out of a drain on Hulse Street and flow east towards Homeside Park, where it will discharge into a ditch. Water crews will put up a partial barricade on Hulse Street by the tower, where the water will emerge to warn traffic. While it will not flood the street, people in the area will notice.
